The Machu Picchu tour 1 day to the main tourist destination of Peru and one of the wonders of the world, is a package that offers you an excellent service to make your visit pleasant and unforgettable. Itinerary

Day 1: Machupicchu Tour

The pick-up will be directly from your hotel, and the exact time will be coordinated with you a few days before your trip. From Cusco, we will travel by car to Ollantaytambo train station, where we will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train journey lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, following the course of the Vilcanota River, which will accompany us throughout the trip. Along the way, you will also spot remnants of Inca sites and the entrance to the Traditional Inca Trail.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting to escort you to the bus station. From there, we will take the bus that ascends to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, where our professional guide will meet you.

Once inside, you will enjoy a two-hour guided tour, exploring the most important and fascinating areas of Machu Picchu. You will uncover the mystery behind its long abandonment and learn how its agricultural terraces, interlaced with irrigation channels, made it possible to sustain multiple harvests year-round.

Machu Picchu is made up of more than 200 structures, including houses, squares, storehouses, palaces, temples, and observatories. Among its most iconic sites are:

  • The Temple of the Sun
  • The Main Square
  • The Temple of the Three Windows
  • The Temple of the Condor
  • The Intihuatana (solar calendar stone)

Other remarkable points include the Funerary Rock, the Main Gate, the Acllahuasi (House of the Chosen Women), the Royal Mausoleum, and the Princess’s House, among many other wonders.

In the afternoon, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Once there, our private transport will drive you back to the city of Cusco.
