Salkantay Trek 4D/3N

Salkantay Trek 4D/3N

Overview

Salkantay Trek 4 days is a short version of the entire trail that takes you to Machu Picchu if you don’t have enough time to make the five-day version, this option is perfect for you because you will enjoy the best part of the Salkantay Trek. The first three days are the same as the 5-day walk. The whole group on the third day arrives at the Santa Teresa camp at around 1:00 p.m. for lunch, people who have four days of walking after lunch will continue by car to the hydroelectric plant for 45 more minutes, then they will walk 3 hours along the train tracks to Aguas. hot town. Once you get to the village, we take you to the accommodation, and at dinner, you will join another group that started the hike a day before you, for dinner and the next day’s tour at Machu Picchu. Sometimes we have enough people to make groups of 4 days only people. In this case, you will travel only with people and guides who are doing only the four-day program. This option is excellent for those adventurers who want to take the Salcantay and Machu Picchu trek in 4 days. You will enjoy the mountains, lagoons, glaciers are jungle and much more the only difference between the 5-day program is that you do not have time to do the thermal baths of Santa Teresa and there is no time to do trekking Llactapata that takes you to the Inca site of Llactapata to see Machu Picchu a day before.
