There, we will make a brief stop to admire the stunning Andean landscape, take photographs, and breathe the fresh high mountain air, before beginning our downhill bike descent for approximately 3 hours (Inka Jungle Trail).

Along the route, we will visit a small archaeological complex, Huamanmarca, and observe the changing climate of the cloud forest. You will also have the opportunity to see coca and coffee plantations, as well as a variety of exotic fruits such as mango, pineapple, and papaya, which you can pick and taste in their natural flavor. During the route, you will enjoy panoramic views, crystal-clear rivers, and small local villages, with the chance to learn about the daily life of Andean communities.

Finally, we arrive in Santa María, a small village, where we will overnight in a basic hostel and you can relax after this first day of adventure and nature.

After breakfast, we get ready to hike. This day is a bit long but rewarding, as we will encounter sections of the original Inca Trail, enjoying stunning landscapes, hidden waterfalls, and the abundant flora and fauna of the region, including tropical birds and unique native plants of the cloud forest.

During the hike, our expert guide will share information about the history, local culture, and traditions of the Andean communities that inhabit the area. This is an excellent opportunity to photograph nature, breathe the fresh mountain air, and connect with the natural environment.

Near the end of the day, we will visit the natural hot springs of Cocalmayo, where you can relax and enjoy an energy drink, such as the famous Cuzqueña beer, while taking in the scenery and recovering from the hike.

Dinner and overnight will be in Santa Teresa, a small tourist village famous for its hot springs, friendly and hospitable people, offering an authentic cultural experience and a well-deserved rest before the next day of adventure.

After a very early breakfast, and following the instructions of the guide, we begin a hike of approximately 2 hours to the place called Hidroeléctrica. From here, it is possible to take a train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) at an additional cost.

Then, we continue walking along the Inka Jungle Trail toward Machu Picchu for approximately 3 more hours until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). Along the route, you can observe a variety of insects, walk along the riverbanks, enjoy an impressive landscape, and see in the distance the Putucusi and San Miguel mountains.

Finally, we arrive at Aguas Calientes. In the evening, we will enjoy dinner, while our guide provides detailed information about our Machu Picchu tour. The overnight stay will be in a basic hotel with a private bathroom in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).
