Itinerary

Day 1: Mountain of Colors (Palcoyo)

05:30 a.m. – Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco
We will begin our adventure early in the morning with a comfortable ride through picturesque valleys and traditional villages.

08:30 a.m. – Breakfast in Cusipata
We will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast before continuing our journey.

10:30 a.m. – Arrival at Palcoyo
We will reach the starting point of our hike at an altitude of 4,900 meters above sea level. Unlike Vinicunca, the hike to Palcoyo is short and easy, lasting about 40 minutes along a gentle trail.

Exploration of the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountains
You will be amazed by the stunning view of three rainbow-colored mountains in one location. From the top, you can also admire the majestic Ausangate glacier and the beautiful surrounding valleys. Along the way, we may encounter local wildlife such as alpacas and llamas.

Optional short hike to the Stone Forest
For those with extra energy, we can continue a short distance further to the fascinating Stone Forest, a set of natural rock formations that offer incredible panoramic views.

12:30 p.m. – Return to the vehicle
We will descend calmly to the bus station and begin our return journey.

01:30 p.m. – Lunch in Cusipata
We will stop again to enjoy a buffet lunch made with local ingredients.

05:00 p.m. – Arrival in Cusco
We will return to the city, where you will be dropped off near your hotel, carrying unforgettable memories of this colorful natural wonder.
