Overview
This tour is known for combining beautiful natural landscapes. Typon, Pikillakta, and the Sistine Chapel of America, known as Andahuaylillas, are part of the route. Dare to get to know this route in a single day, in the most fun way.
Itinerary
Day 1: South Valley
We started the tour with the group pick up at their respective hotels 8:00 am to 8:30 am. We will have a 40 minute trip to the first visiting point called Tipon A large impressive growing space containing 12 terraces that are currently cultivated, the walls of which were built with finely carved stones. Even more impressive is the irrigation system that is still serving agriculture. We will continue our journey in Pikillaqta. It presents characteristics of a large urban center corresponding to the development time of the Wari Empire, with more than a thousand constructions between squares, colcas (food deposits), courts or homes, temples, long and narrow streets with buildings that were up to 4 floors high. Andahuaylillas Typical Andean Villa of the time of the colony of singular origin and architecture. Its Catholic temple of the colonial era stands out with a beautiful decoration and mural painting from the 17th and 18th centuries known as “the Sistine Chapel of America”. Saylla Pueblo Cusco where you can enjoy the delicious pork rinds (optional), we will return to Cusco at 3:00 pm.
