Peru Total Plaza de Armas Lima

Upon your arrival in Lima, a representative from our company will be waiting for you with transportation for your transfer to the selected hotel, where you will receive an informative briefing about the activities planned during your stay.

Between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our first activity: the Lima City Tour. We will enjoy a journey that will allow us to explore Lima through its three stages: Ancestral, Colonial, and Modern. We will start with a panoramic view of the Pyramid of Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AD, considered a Sacred Town of the Incas.

Next, we will head to the Historic Center of Lima, where we will admire the old city through its monuments and colonial buildings, including the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Municipal Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, and the Cathedral Basilica, among others. We will continue with a visit to the Central Reserve Bank Museum, which showcases the Collection of Treasures of Peru, including ceramics, gold, and textiles from various pre-Columbian cultures. We will also explore the San Francisco Monumental Complex, which houses the largest collection of colonial religious art in the Americas, highlighting its underground crypts, known as the Catacombs.

Finally, we will visit the Contemporary Area of Lima, where we will admire the main buildings and residential areas, such as El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar, and the Park of Love.

The tour will conclude at approximately 6:00 p.m., and the night will be spent in Lima.

Perú Total Huacachina Ica
Peru Total Huacachina Ica

At 4:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to the city of Paracas, with an estimated arrival around 8:00 a.m. Once there, we will head to El Chaco Pier to board a speedboat that will take us to the impressive Ballestas Islands.

Our first stop will be in front of the enigmatic Candelabro, a colossal geoglyph in the shape of a trident, over 2,500 years old. During the tour, we will explore different theories about its origin, which could be related to ancient pirates or even the creators of the famous Nazca Lines.

Next, we will continue to the Ballestas Islands, a group of three small islands that host a unique ecological and marine richness in Peru. Here, we will observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and numerous guanay birds in their natural habitat. Although landing on the islands is not permitted to protect the ecosystem and avoid disturbing the animals, we will tour the islands for approximately one hour, getting close enough to fully enjoy the experience. Afterwards, we will return to the pier in Paracas.

We will continue our journey to Ica, where we will visit an artisanal winery producing the famous Pisco. A local guide will explain the traditional process of making Pisco and wine, and visitors will have the opportunity to taste the different varieties and purchase products if they wish.

Next, we will head to the Huacachina Oasis, located just 5 km from the city center. In this beautiful setting, visitors can enjoy the peaceful environment, explore the surroundings, capture unique photographs, or visit local restaurants during free time.

At 4:00 p.m., or at the previously agreed time, the thrilling experience of dune buggy rides around the Huacachina Lagoon will begin. The dunes offer visitors the chance to participate in one of the most exciting sports in the region, known as sandboarding. We will also enjoy the stunning desert sunset. At the end of the activity, we will return to our accommodation to rest and prepare for the next adventure in Nazca.

Perú Total Nazca
Peru Total Nazca

Tour to the Cantalloc Aqueducts (Duration: 2 hours)
Just 3 km east of the city of Nazca are the impressive Cantalloc Aqueducts, a marvel of ancient Nazca engineering, built around 500 A.D. These underground channels were essential for ensuring a constant water supply in a region where rivers often dry up. The Nazca people proved to be master hydraulic engineers, using materials that have lasted over 1,500 years. During the tour, we will learn how they controlled water flow and maintained the channels.

Overflight of the Nazca Lines (Duration: 30 minutes)
Next, we will experience the thrill of an overflight of the famous Nazca Lines, an archaeological mystery that has fascinated humanity for centuries. For approximately 30 minutes, we will have the opportunity to admire the enigmatic figures etched into the Nazca desert, including representations of animals, stylized plants, and geometric shapes such as lines, trapezoids, triangles, and spirals, which have remained almost intact for nearly 2,000 years.

Tour to the Cahuachi Ceremonial Center
Our next stop will be the Cahuachi Ceremonial Center, located 28 km southwest of Nazca. Cahuachi is a complex of ceremonial plazas, stepped temples, and pyramids that served as sites for sacrifices and offerings. Archaeologists believe that the inhabitants of Cahuachi were the creators of the Nazca Lines, given the site’s proximity to these figures. In addition to exploring Cahuachi, we will visit the María Reich Museum and workshops where we can appreciate local crafts, including ceramics, goldwork, and textiles.

At the end of this fascinating day, we will return to the city of Lima, where we will spend the night.
